Keith Thurman today went to social media and asked Tim Tszyu to send him a contract for his next fight. He wants it to be sent tonight so that he can sign it.
Today’s tactics
There is a strategy behind this step. The bad, old “unique” Thurman, 36, under pressure Tszyu (25-2, 18 Kos), puts the fight before looking in a different direction to a more lucrative match against Sebastian Fundora or Errol Spence. Keith uses an old seller -trick and hopes that Tim is gullible.
Tszyu should wait until he and his team see the best offer. The fight against Thurman won’t do much for Tim’s legacy. It would be better to avenge his loss against Fundora or to run a more well -known fight against the more popular Errol Spence.
Thurman never achieved the fame he had had because he became a part -time fighter after his strenuous fight against Danny Garcia in 2017. Thurman has only fought four times in the past eight years. That is pathetic.
If TSzyu goes in a different direction, Thurman will be forced to wait, age more and sit on the shelf until he is free. If Tim takes this fight next, there is a good chance that he will lose against Fundora, which leads to a longer waiting time for Thurman. Since Keith is as inactive and aged as now, he cannot afford to wait.
Last Saturday, the former Mittelweight championship in the middleweight, TSzyu, Joey Spencer (19-2, 11 Kos) excluded in the fourth round in the Newcastle Entertainment Center in Newcastle, Australia. The fight was designed as a pick-me-up for Tim to increase his self-confidence after being blown out in three rounds in three rounds in three rounds in Orlando, Florida, Florida.
Tszyu didn’t know what he got into when he took this fight and when he discovered what he had it was too late. The fight was basically over after the first knockdown in the second round. Tszyu never recovered from the left hook with which Murtazaliev dropped him in this round. He knocked down Tim three times before the fight was stopped in the third round.
The contract trap
“Congratulations, Tim Tszyu. I see that you went through this starter. I went through with mine (Brock Jarvis). I brought him out in three. I brought him out in four” Social mediaSend a message to Tim Tszyu after winning Joey Spencer in Australia last Saturday evening.
“I don’t know anything about you, boy, but I’m still hungry. Send the contract. Send the contract. I will sign it tonight. I promise you to come to Australia and give you a good fight. Let us go,” said Thurman.
