“Keyshawn Davis produces drama with Shakur Stevenson duel”

Keyshawn Davis posted a picture on Instagram today of himself posing in a face-off with his best friend Shakur Stevenson, asking fans if this is a fight they want to see. WBC lightweight champion Shakur said earlier this week that he “never” Fight Keyshawn with no money.

The photo session

In the matchup, Keyshawn looked like a BIG welterweight standing next to the regular-sized lightweight Stevenson. I don’t know how Davis can reach 135, as big as he is, but I understand why he chooses to fight in that weight class. Given his massive size at welterweight, this is an easy choice.

Keyshawn (12-0, 8 KOs) just uses fake hype to get people talking about him. He will fight WBO lightweight champion Denys Berinchyk next month on February 14th at the Hula Theater at Madison Square Garden in New York. The event will be broadcast live on ESPN+. There is no buzz at all about Davis’ fight against Berinchyk because the fans have no interest in it. Keyshawn chose the weakest link to fight for the world title instead of showing courage and pursuing the other champions.

The fight that won’t happen

It’s a shame that Keyshawn and Shakur won’t face each other because that means there will be an undisputed lightweight champion while the two share the same division and refuse to mix them up. That assumes Keyshawn can win the WBO title against Berinchyk, because if he loses this fight against the weakest link, he will never win a world title at 135. Keyshawn already looks huge for the lightweight division, like a true welterweight.

I can understand the rush on his part to fight smaller players at 135 instead of fighting Jaron “Boots” Ennis where he should be at 147. Keyshawn would have no chance against Boots, and probably none of the other welterweight belt holders either. He is like a fish that can only exist in certain waters. If you take the fish out of its habitat, it cannot exist. This is Keyshawn to the T.

“This is what y’all want?” Keyshawn Davis said on Instagram about an argument between him and his friend Shakur Stevenson.

The Berinchyk Challenge

“I didn’t get any love on Valentine’s Day. I’m going out there and getting the knockout. “Berinchyk, you’re a great fighter,” Keyshawn Davis said on his YouTube Channel and talks about his fight next month on February 14th on ESPN+ against WBO lightweight champion Denys Berinchyk.

“I’ll knock him out. You know what I do. It will be a great victory. “The businessman.” Thanks to Berinchyk for giving me the opportunity, right? He gave me the opportunity to be the face of big checks. We will all go home happy. It’s at MSG on February 14th at the Hula Theater,” Davis said.
